Northern Utah's Flowering Plant Families
he data presented here are derived from Shaw (1989). They are not guaranteed for accuracy (because of my counting ability, not Shaw's treatment). My purpose in providing the list is simply to provide an idea of the relative abundance of the various flowering plant families in northern Utah. They are listed in order of the number of their species. For families with an equal number of species, those with more native species are listed first. For an alphabetical listing of the families, click here. Some of the families are linked to descriptive material (or will be shortly).
