GRASS CHECKLIST FOR NORTH AMERICA (North of Mexico)

This checklist came about due to a number of inquiries from various individuals asking for an updated list of grasses in the United States for use in teaching. It is compilation based on the files kept at Utah State University's Intermountain Herbarium and used for the forthcoming Flora of North America (FNA) series grass volumes (vols. 24 & 25), as well as an eventual single volume identification manual aimed at teaching and fieldwork. The checklist is periodically updated as time and need allow. It is presented here as a PDF document, and may be printed and duplicated for educational uses only.
