Deep Canyon is located at >>,
at the north end of the Wellsville Mountains in Cache County, Utah. The Wellsvilles
are the steepest (but not the highest) mountains in the world. Deep Canyon trail
zigs and zags its way to the ridge, but most of the species listed in the table below were
collected on the lower portion of the trail in early July, 1998, by Jaren Barker, Brittany
Larsen, Sandy Long, Janis Morris, Heather Stirland, and Angela Wilcock in partial
fulfilment of the requirements of Botany 221.
